Actually, No we don’t, and that’s exactly the point. Water diviners have been unfairly relegated to the realms of the terminally flaky, which is one step up from being called emissaries of the great satan. The truth is quite different.
Toorwater will explore & expose the real world of the South African water diviner. A good deal of science, a fair measure of artistry, a leavening of life experience - it’s a world of real people in an all too real world. And stories. The kind of stories that you hear when rugged Afrikaners drop their guard and reveal the wit, irreverence & sheer guts with which they survive the vagaries of weather, banks, politics & each other.
The lifeline running through all of it is Water - and the person who can tell you where to find it, the waterwyser.
